　　I was very interested in your advertisement in today's edition of The Evening Post and I should like to apply to be a member of the Amazon Expedition team.

　　I am twenty-three years old and have an honors degree in Botany from Bath University. I would particularly like to join the expedition for the opportunity it would give me to study the plant life of the area.

　　英語申請信寫作方法

　　⑴基本特點

　　入學申請書是要到國外某學校進修或學習，從而事先同該校取得聯系并提出申請批推的一種書信。現在申請到國外求學的人越來越多，因此掌握人學申請書的寫法是十分必要的。入學申請信的主要內容有：說明寫信的原因和目的，一般人學申請書在正文開頭即開門見山寫出是為了申請入學的學校及專業才寫這封信的，有的還寫明是由專家或學者推薦而想進該校學習的;介紹自身的情況，若隨信附有個人的學歷證件、個人簡歷、著作摘要、文章或別的推薦信等也要在該部分寫出，并說明附件的總數量;最后提出自己的希望和要求，如提供學校介紹的相關資料和入學申請表格。

　　⑵注意事項

　　介紹個人的情況包括自己的姓名、年齡、學歷、工作經歷、所學專業、進行的研究情況以及所取得的成績等。另外，應向對方說明自己的經濟資助情況，寫明是否準備申請助學金或獎學金等。入學申請應重點展示自身教育背景和學習科研能力。實際上，在學校參加過的各種課外活動都可以算作經歷;例如，參加過業余演出和辯論會，榮獲過某種獎勵，當過學生干部等，都可以寫出來，讓對方加深對你的了解。最后不要忘記事先對對方將給予的幫助表示感謝。
