　　Hello，everyone. This is 豆子!Today, I am sharing some interesting words, phrases and conversations about date!(約會)I drafted two converstions for your listen and review, let’s start!!!

　　Conversation 1 Ask a girl out (約妹子出去)

　　Sam: Hey, Janice. This is Sam. Do you want to hang out tonight? I know a great restaurant.

　　Hang out: 要不要一起出去逛一下(豆子翻譯：浪走，去不?跟朋友也是這樣用!)

　　Janice: Thank you, Sam. But I already have some plans. I am going out with my friends. Sorry.

　　But一開始，就基本是拒絕的語調了。(朋友總是擋箭牌!)

　　Sam: That’s ok. What about tomorrow evening?

　　契而不舍繼續約!

　　Janice: I am afraid not. I have a late meeting with my clients(客戶)./I have to work tomorrow evening, because I have a deadline for a memo/project (有文件要交).

　　妹子很忙啊，要開會，要工作!

　　Sam: I see. Do you want to go out this weekend?

　　工作日不行，周末呢?

　　Janice: I can’t, Sam. I will pick my cousin up at the airport/train station.

　　親戚出場，要去接機/接火車呢!

　　Sam: Your schedule is really busy. How about next Wednesday? We can watch a movie, maybe “Rise of the Planet of the Apes?”

　　這周不行，下周!看個最近流行的《猩球崛起》吧!(豆子評論：約妹子看猩猩什么鬼，不是應該看個浪漫愛情片或是恐怖片?來個我保護你的抱抱嗎?)

　　Janice: I am sorry, Sam. I have to visit my high school teacher in the hospital.

　　高中老師都出來了，要去醫院看望。

　　Sam: Well, how about sometime next month?

　　這周不行，下個月總行了吧?(這小伙對這妹子真的很有意思!我都要被我寫的感動鳥!)

　　Janice: No, Sam. I will get engaged next month.

　　不成啊，姐下個月要訂婚了!

　　Sam:……….(heart broken)

　　Conversation 2 Blind Date (俗語:相親!聽說國慶要有一大波!)

　　John: Excuse me, is your name Cindy?

　　不好意思，你是。。。(先找人)

　　Cindy: Yes, and you must be John. Nice to meet you.

　　找對人了，寒暄一下。

　　John: Nice to meet you too. This is my first time to have a blind date, kind of nervous.

　　第一次相親，略緊張。(一般說緊張的都不緊張。)

　　Cindy: Oh, me too.

　　偶也是。

　　John: You look just like the picture my Mom showed me. You actually are more pretty!

　　你跟照片上一樣一樣的，比照片上還好看呢。(大哥太會說話。)

　　Cindy: Thanks, so my parent told me you are a dentist?

　　妹子會心一笑，開問職業，聽說是個牙醫哈?

　　John: Yes, I have worked in the hospital for five years.

　　是的，五年經驗了呢!

　　Cindy: You must be very busy I guess. Work over time always?

　　那一定很忙，一直加班啦?

　　John: Not really. My patients’ appointments are during working hours. What about you?

　　不是的，病人預約都在工作時間，你呢?

　　Cindy: I am a English teacher in junior middle school. Kind of busy.

　　初中英語老師，挺忙的。

　　John: What hobbies do you have?

　　有啥愛好沒?

　　Cindy: I like cooking and travelling, you?

　　John: Oh, we have something in common, I like travelling too. Maybe we can schedule a short travel next time?
