Since I came to middle school, I have to learn so many subjects, at first, I could not catch up with my classmates, I felt so worried. So I decided to keep studying every night. After finishing dinner, I went to my bedroom and did my homework. But when I finished my homework, I forced myself to go over other subjects. Though I was very tired, I still keptstudying until midnight. But it did not work, I did not made progress. I talked to my teacher, she told me to relax and had a good rest, I needed to be patient and made progress step by step. I realized my mistake and adjusted my method and it works.

Days before the festival, people clean their houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate their houses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get together and have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. At midnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the New Year. During the festival, kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy we are.

I like drawing. It does bring me happiness. As a kid I was keen on those lines and curves drawn on paper made into animals and scenes.

It really could show beauty to people and express my feelings. And then I took a course so that I could get close to it and see it well.

But at that time I just did it for fun. Years went by I got into a long period of time filled with pressure in study. And I found it so good a way to relax.

It did not any longer play an unimportant role in my living but bacame my friend. Since that time I have felt it like a nice person deep in my heart who can talk with me with true words and make me happy with life.

Water is very important to us. If you don’t have water for three days, you will die. We can use water for flowers, swimming, washing and many different things. We use it to cook, make electricity, put out fires and so on. We use millions of liters of water every day.

Do you know how does the water come to your home? It travels through water pipes. Some are long and wide but some are short and narrow. Then the water travels through the water pipes to the reservoirs. Then it travels through the water pipes to the river and to the special factories (we call water plants) that purify the water. When the water is purified, we can drink it. Please don’t leave garbage in the water on which we line, and keep the water clean.
