Text A What's the Matter with You?
Mrs Welsh: Good afternoon, Dr Dawes.
Mrs Welsh:下午好，Dr Dawes。
Dr Dawes: Good afternoon, Mrs Welsh.
Dr Dawes:下午好，Mr Welsh。
Mrs Welsh: Please come this way, Doctor. Peter's in this room.
Mrs Welsh：請這邊走，醫生。Peter在這個房間。
Dr Dawes: Well, Peter. I'm sorry you're ill. What's the matter with you?
Dr Dawes：嗯，Peter。很遺憾你生病了。你怎么啦?
Peter: I don't know, Doctor. I'm ill. I have a headache and a stomachache.
Peter：我不知道，醫生。我病了。我頭疼，肚子也疼。
Dr Dawes: Show me your tongue. What did you eat yesterday?
Dr Dawes:給我看下你的舌頭。你昨天吃了什么?
Peter: Well, Doctor, I. . .
Peter：嗯，醫生，我。。。
Dr Dawes: Did you eat any cake?
Dr Dawes：你吃了蛋糕嗎?
Peter: Yes, I ate some cake.
Peter：是的，我吃了一些蛋糕。
Dr Dawes: Did you eat any ice cream?
Dr Dawes：你吃了冰激凌嗎?
Peter: Well, yes, I did. I ate some ice cream.
Peter：嗯，是的，我吃了。我吃了一些冰激凌。
Dr Dawes: Did you eat any candy?
Dr Dawes：你吃了糖果嗎?
Peter: Well, yes, I did. I ate some candy.
Peter：嗯，是的，我吃了些。我吃了一些糖果。
Dr Dawes: Young man, tell me everything you ate yesterday evening.
Dr Dawes：年輕人，告訴我你昨晚吃的所有東西。
Peter: Well, Doctor. I went to a birthday party.
Peter：嗯，醫生。我參加了一個生日party。
Dr Dawes: I see! How many pieces of cake did you eat?
Dr Dawes：我知道了!你吃了多少塊蛋糕?
Peter: Three, Doctor.
Peter：三塊，醫生。
Dr Dawes: How many plates of ice ream did you eat, young man?
Dr Dawes：你吃了多少碟冰激凌，年輕人?
Peter: Gosh, Doctor. I had only three plates of ice cream. John had four.
Peter:啊呀，醫生。我只吃了三碟冰激凌。John吃了四碟。
Text B How Did You lose Your Way?
嗨嗨，神馬時候走累了想坐車又沒money，干脆就call警察叔叔幫幫忙唄，瞧人家老爺爺多威風啊，坐著警車回家。
Mrs Brown's old grandfather lived with her and her husband. Every morning he went for a walk in the park and came home at half past twelve for his lunch.
Mrs Brown的年老的爺爺和她及她丈夫住在一起。每天早上他都會去公園散步然后在12點半回家吃午飯。
But one morning a police car stopped outside Mrs Brown's house at twelve o'clock, and two policemen helped Mr Brown to get out. One of them said to Mrs Brown, The poor old gentleman lost his way in the park and telephoned to us for help, so we sent a car to bring him home. Mrs Brown was very surprised, but she thanked the policemen and they left.
但有一天早上12點時一輛警車停在了Mrs Brown家門外，兩個警察把Mr Brown扶出警車。其中一位跟Mrs Brown說：“這位可憐的老人在公園迷路了，打電話向我們求救，所以我們用車把他帶回家來。Mrs Brown 很吃驚，但她還是感謝兩位警車，然后他們離開了。
“But, Grandfather,” she then said, “you have been to that park nearly every day for twenty years. How did you lose your way there?”
“但是，爺爺，”她說，“你幾乎每天都去那個公園已經二十年了，你怎么會在那里迷路呢?”
The old man smiled, closed one eye and said, “I didn't quite lose my way. I just got tired and I didn't want to walk home! ”
這位老人笑了，閉起一只眼睛說，“我并沒有迷路，我只是累了不想走回家而已!”

釣魚好玩呀，偶曾經連續掉起好多魚，可就是沒條夠大夠養眼夠炫耀的噻，可俺們的主人公卻把釣上來的大魚統統扔了，這是為啥子類?
One morning a man was crossing a narrow bridge when he saw a fisherman on the shady bank of the deep, smooth river under him, so he stopped to watch him quietly.
After a few minutes, the fisherman pulled his line in. There was a big, fat fish at the end of it.
The fisherman took it off the hook and threw it back into the water. Then he put his hook and line in again. After a few more minutes he caught another big fish. Again he threw it back into the river. Then, the third time, he caught a small fish. He put it into his basket and started to get ready to go. The man on the bridge was very surprised, so he spoke to the fisherman. He said, “Why did you throw those beautiful, big fish back into the water and keep only that small one?”
The fisherman looked up and answered, “Small frying-pan.”
