我的祖父My Grandfather
My grandfather is a famous professor. He is over sixty now, but he is in good health, and his hair is still black. He is tall and handsome, and looks like a gentleman. Believe it or not, he began to learn to drive last year, and now he drives his white Nissan every day.
My grandfather has taught English for about 35 years, and he has been to many countries, such as America, France and Canada. Now he is on holiday in Europe with my grandmother.
He is very kind to me.

Rose wanted a job when she was seventeen. It was not difficult to find a job then in the country. One day Rose was looking for a job. She went to many offices but she didn’t like any of them. When she went into one of the offices, she saw a board: This office needs a typist. Rose was excited. She went to the manager’s office. The manager was writing something . Rose knocked at the door. The manager raised his head. “ Do you need a typist?” asked Rose. “Yes!” the manager said. Rose jumped up and clapped her hands. She couldn’t help saying: “ ok! I will take this job. How much will you pay me?” the manager thought for a few seconds and said: “I will pay you twenty-seven dollars in the first three months. Then I will pay you thirty dollars.” Rose smiled and answered: “Great, I will come and work here three months later .” The manager frowned and he was speechless.
當(dāng)Rose十七歲的時(shí)候她想要一份工作。那時(shí)候在這個(gè)國(guó)家找到一份工作并不難。有一天Rose正在找工作。她去了許多辦公室，但她不喜歡其中的任何一個(gè)。當(dāng)她走進(jìn)其中一間辦公室，看到一個(gè)木板上寫著：這個(gè)辦公室需要一個(gè)打字員。Rose很興奮。她去了經(jīng)理的辦公室。經(jīng)理正在寫東西。Rose敲了敲門。經(jīng)理抬起頭。“你需要一個(gè)打字員嗎?”Rose問(wèn)道。“是啊!”經(jīng)理說(shuō)。Rose跳起來(lái)拍了拍手。她忍不住說(shuō)：“好的!我需要這份工作。你會(huì)支付我多少錢?”經(jīng)理想了幾秒鐘，說(shuō)：“前三個(gè)月我將支付你27美元。然后我將付給你30美元。”Rose笑了笑，回答說(shuō)：“太好了，我會(huì)三個(gè)月后再來(lái)工作。”經(jīng)理皺了皺眉，頓時(shí)無(wú)語(yǔ)了。
節(jié)約用水Save Water
Water is very important for us. We must drink water everyday. We can’t live without water. Water is everywhere around us. At home, we use water to wash clothes, to wash dishes, to cook rice, to clean the flat, to have showers, to make drinks, to clean our teeth, to have a bath and so on. At work, people use water to put out fires, to grow vegetables, to make things in factories and so on. We also can swim in the sea. Water is important for us, isn’t it?
水對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)是非常重要的。我們必須每天喝水。沒有水我們是無(wú)法生存的。我們周圍到處都有水。在家里，我們用水來(lái)洗衣服，洗碗，煮飯，打掃公寓，淋浴，做飲料，刷牙，洗澡等等。工作的時(shí)候，人們用水來(lái)滅火，種菜，在工廠里制造東西等等。我們還可以在海里游泳。水對(duì)我們很重要，不是嗎?
