　　湯姆: How about going to the English Corner with me?

　　羅斯: Oh, I`d rather not.

　　我不想去.

　　湯姆: Do you think it is necessary for me to prepare some topics to talk about in English Corner?

　　你覺得我是否有必要準備些去英語角談論的話題?

　　羅斯: Yes, since it is the first time for you to go there, you`d better prepare something in case you are too nervous to think of anything to say. But after three or four times, you don`t have to do that anymore. If you always prepare some topics before-hand, your conversation in the Corner will always be limited by the sentences you have prepared. If someone asks you a question beyond them you will have nothing to say. So remember not to become too dependent on preparations.
