形容詞比較級、最高級的用法

　　形容詞：描述事物的特征、性質、類屬、狀態等內容的一類詞，主要用于修飾、豐富、限定名詞的內容。

　　原級：as+形容詞+as ……跟……一樣……

　　not so(as)+ 形容詞+as ……沒有……那樣……

　　比較級：比較級形容詞+than… 比……較……

　　最高級：the+最高級形容詞+of(in) 在……當中最……

　　4.比較級可用來表示程度的語語修飾

　　能修飾比較級形容詞的詞語常見的有：

　　a little, a little bit

　　slightly, a lot

　　a good deal, much

　　still, far(……得多)

　　even(甚至), twice

　　three times, 100 times

　　five meters…

　　Jack is only a little better than you.

　　杰克只是比你好一點點。

　　Our country is much richer than 20 years ago.

　　我們國家比20年前富裕多了。

　　This sounds far sweeter than just now.

　　這比剛才聽起來悅耳多了。

　　My father’s wage is 100 times higher than 22 years ago.

　　我爸的工資比22年前高100倍。

　　習慣用法“the+比較級，the+比較級”表示：越……越……

　　The sooner, the better.

　　越來越好。

　　The more careful you are, the less mistakesyou’ll make.

　　你越細心，犯錯誤就越少。

　　The deeper the water (is),the colder it is.

　　水越深越冷。

　　“比較級+and+比較級”常用來表示“越來越…”

　　The patient is getting better and better.

　　病人越來越好了。

　　Computers are cheaper and cheaper.

　　電腦越來越便宜了。

　　Things are moreand more complicated.

　　情況越來越復雜了。

　　5.最高級的用法

　　形容詞的原級、比較級用于“兩件事物”之間的比較，而最高級則用于三件或者更多事物之間的比較，體現其“最……”之意。

　　常用結構：the+最高級+of(in)…

　　Robbie is the tallest of all the boys.

　　羅比是所有男孩中最高的。

　　Arnold is the biggest star of all the movie stars.

　　阿諾德是所有電影明星中最大的明星。

　　Lily is the youngest in her class.

　　莉莉是班上最小的。

　　He is the best teacher in the world.

　　他是世上是棒的老師。

　　注意：在the+最高級+of(in)結構中兩個介詞的用法區別：

　　of后面接被比較的人或者事物，一般是復數名詞，而in后面接范圍、地方，一般是單數名詞。

　　of the three

　　in the world

　　of them

　　in China

　　of all(people,things)

　　in this city

　　of all the students

　　in our group

　　the+最高級+of(in)中的介詞有時可以不用，或者改為別的介詞：

　　You are theb est student that I have ever met.

　　你是我見到過的最好的學生。

　　Chaplin was themost humorous actor on earth.

　　當時卓別林是世上最幽默的演員。

　　“the+序數詞+最高級”也常用：

　　The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.

　　黃河是中國第二長的河。

　　You are the third thinnest person in our class.

　　你是我們班第三瘦的人。
