親愛的孩子：
你或許不認(rèn)識我，我卻認(rèn)識你的一切(詩139：1)

知足常樂
人為什么會不開心?其中的一個原因是不能知足，不會知足，所謂知足常樂。人怎樣才能知足呢?什么能讓人的心得到真正的滿足呢?動物為什么不會得憂郁癥呢?因為人是有靈魂的。人的靈魂不是物質(zhì)的，所以用物質(zhì)的東西去滿足靈魂的空虛是行不通的，這就是為什么有許多的有錢人，歌星、影星去吸毒，甚至自殺，因為他們的物質(zhì)太豐富了，要什么有什么，他們發(fā)現(xiàn)，這些東西都不能滿足他們，于是他們就鋌而走險，吸毒，因為他們的靈魂太空虛了。為什么窮人反而常常的快樂呢?因為他們有奮斗的目標(biāo)，而富人沒有目標(biāo)了，在物質(zhì)上他們要什么有什么了。
什么能滿足人的靈魂呢?既然靈魂不是物質(zhì)的，那么物質(zhì)的一定不能滿足，只有造人靈魂的神才能滿足。奧古斯丁說，人的靈魂是神所造的，惟有神才能滿足。這就是許多某宗教教徒常常快樂的原因。真正的某宗教教徒是不會得憂郁癥的，是不會自殺的，也不會離婚的，人為什么會離婚?其中的一個原因也是因為發(fā)現(xiàn)婚姻不能真正的滿足他們的靈魂需要，當(dāng)然還有其他的原因了。
耶穌說，人若賺得全世界，卻賠上自己的靈魂，有什么益處呢?人還能拿什么換靈魂呢?他又說：我來了，是要叫羊(人)得生命，并且得的更豐盛，他還說，人若渴了(靈魂的渴)，可以到我這里來喝。
耶穌又說，我就是生命(靈魂)的糧，到我這里來的，必定不餓，信我的必定不渴(靈魂不再饑渴)。
不失其所者久，死而不亡者壽
老子的這句話，我沒有皈信耶穌某宗教之前，我是不懂的，但是我讀了圣經(jīng)之后，我明白了是什么意思了。
不失其所者久，“所”是指居住的地主，就是居所的意思，人類的居所在哪里呢?什么居所可以讓我們永遠(yuǎn)不會失去呢?所有的物質(zhì)的居所都不能永久的存在，《圣經(jīng)》詩篇90篇告訴我們，神是我們的居所，并且是永遠(yuǎn)的。他是人類靈魂永遠(yuǎn)的歸宿，人只要找到了這個居所，就找到了永遠(yuǎn)的家了。 這就是不失其所者，并且是永遠(yuǎn)(久)的。
死而不亡者壽是什么意思呢?人死了為什么又不亡呢?老子在這里告訴我們，人是有靈魂的，不但老子相信人有靈魂，中國許多的古人都是相信的，可惜現(xiàn)在的人把老祖宗的東西都丟棄了，所以才活得這樣的空虛。
耶穌說：“復(fù)活在我，生命也在我，信我的人，雖然死了，也必復(fù)活。”信耶穌的人就得到了永生了。耶穌(他是神)是人靈魂永遠(yuǎn)的家，是人惟一的歸宿，找到了他，就找到安息，(他說，凡勞苦擔(dān)重?fù)?dān)的人，可以到我這里來，我就使你們得安息)，找到了他就找到了真正的滿足和喜樂。因為人的靈魂是他所造的，惟有他才能滿足。
