　　suggest是個及物動詞，后面可以跟名詞、代詞、動詞-ing形式或從句作賓語。各種試題中對suggest的考查通常涉及到它的非謂語動詞形式、賓語從句及虛擬語氣等方面。下面對suggest的相關考點進行一下總結。

　　suggest作“(間接地)表明、建議、使想起”解時，后面可跟名詞、代詞或動詞-ing形式作賓語。如：

　　That girl's sun-tanned face suggests excellent health.

　　那個姑娘被太陽曬黑了的臉表明她身體非常健康。

　　Mr. Smith suggested a way out of the difficulty.

　　史密斯先生提出了一個克服困難的辦法。
