1. I want to ask you a question regarding my salary.
我想要問一個關于我薪水的問題。
問別人一個問題可以簡單地說I want to ask you a question. 等對方接話之后才陳述自己的問題。但是這樣子問沒頭沒腦的，不是很好。所以通常美國人在對話時會開宗明義地提出是關于什么的問題。最常見的用法就是在 question 之后接 about 或是 regarding，之后加你想問的問題。比方說：I want to ask you a question about my salary. 或是 I want to ask you a question regarding my salary. 就是我想請教你一個關于我薪水的問題。通常在公司工作一段時間己該加薪了，就可以和老板談談。
另外有一個小技巧分享給大家，我們要問別人問題時通常是通過打電話的方式進行，通常對方會先問你May I help you? 之后你就可以回答：Yes, I want to ask you a question about/regarding... 還有一個句型我覺得也很實用，就是直截了當地說：I'm calling about/regarding...(我打電話給您是為了……)，這樣是不是簡潔多了呢?例如：
