Describe a famous person that you admire

The famous person I'd like to describe is Fu Mingxia. She was a gold medallist at Sydney Olympic games. In fact, she won four of them. She won them in the diving competition. She's now a student at Tsinghua University. So she's quite clever and she will graduate from a top university. She's about 25 years old. I think she must be blessed by god to be able to dive so perfectly. After all, most divers have trained in diving schools that are very sophisticated, but her training was not so privileged. She just worked hard and had a very committed coach.

I think I admire her so much because I can imagine how nervous she felt having the whole world watching her and yet she controlled that nervousness masterfully to make a perfect dive. Well, its that ability to control yourself that I'd really love to learn. Also, her diving style was unique and very-brave, and because of her innovative style, she has brought pride to her country.

I think that people can learn that by being the best at something you are not only helping yourself

but the whole country, because high quality is what improves our lives. I think people can learn that nothing is impossible if we set our minds to being the best. We shouldn't always think we can just do what we must to get by. Our goals should be much more ambitious. We should try to be the best because we can take pride from the value of hard work in everything we do.

I'm going to talk about my father because he has been a major influence in my life.

My father was always a good role model for me as I was growing up. He's hard-working, patient and understanding; he has a good sense of humour and seems to get on well with everybody. Hopefully I've inherited some of these traits.

I admire my father because I think he brought me and my brothers and sisters up well; he was quite strict but always fair, and he has always been someone I can turn to for advice. I think my father has set a good example by working hard and he has a positive outlook on life. I remember that he used to leave for work early and come home quite late, but he always made time for me and my brothers and sisters.

Li Ning is no doubt one of the greatest athletes in China owing to his great contribution to gymnastics. So this good-looking young man has often been called the prince of gymnastics.

Having retired from his beloved game (這句話完全等于after he retired from his beloved game)， Li Ning still continued his passion in the field of sports by establishing a sport wear company which was named after him. The company soon became an unprecedented success. Presently， the brand Li Ning has become a main competitor that Nike and Addidas can not ignore in the global market.

Another reason I admire him is that Li Ning is not just a normal businessman who only cares about money， but also a man responsible for the future of the whole nation (我常用這句話來形容商人-溫總理說：企業家身上應當流著道德的血液。). He often donates money to communities and the national educational program called hope plan. So everything he does can be used as positive demonstration for the youth.

In China ，the most significant Agriculture outcome in recent decades was hybrid rice ， which was developed by a group of scientists whom led by Yuan longping in central China's Hunan province.This outstanding contribution already has been written in the textbooks of my generation.
