間接賓語的作用舉例
比方有一句話：“我教他英文。”I teach him English.在這句話里“him”是間接賓語，“English”是直接賓語。
另外有一句話：“昨天我給父親寫了一封信。”I wrote Father a letter yesterday.在這句話里“Father”是間接賓語，“a letter”是直接賓語。
直接賓語，就是跟在及物動詞(或相當(dāng)于及物動詞的詞組)后面的賓語。例如：
We launched the first man-made satelite in 1970.(我們在1970年發(fā)射了第一顆人造衛(wèi)星。)其中，“the first man-made satelite”就是及物動詞“launched”的直接賓語。
I opened the door.(我開了門。)其中，“the door” 就是及物動詞“opened”的直接賓語。
間接賓語，緊跟在某些及物動詞之后(并不是所有的及物動詞都有間接賓語)。一般指“受益于”動詞所表示的行為的人，如：你把什么東西給了某人，或者為某人買東西等。例如：
Mr.Smith gave me a watch as my birthday present.(史密斯先生給我一塊手表作為我的生日禮物。)其中，緊靠及物動詞“gave”的“me”，就是間接賓語，而離得遠(yuǎn)一點的“a watch”就是直接賓語。
Our teacher told us some stories today.(我們的老師今天給我們講了一些故事。)其中，“us”就是間接賓語，“some stories”是直接賓語。
可以有間接賓語的及物動詞不是很多，主要有：give,pay,tell,show,send,bring,allow,wish,teach,write,make,buy,lend,return,等等。
有時，間接賓語還可以是介詞“to”或“for”的賓語。例如：
He gave her a book.(他給她一本書。)
=He gave a book to her.
I have bought you a drink.(我已為你買了這份飲料。)
=I have bought a drink for you.
直接賓語的例子
1直接賓語可由名詞、代詞、數(shù)詞、不定式充當(dāng)。間接賓語是指動詞的行為所指向的人。間接賓語由名 詞或賓格代詞充當(dāng)。間接賓語一般放在直接賓語之前，但有時當(dāng)直接賓語比間接賓語短得多時，或當(dāng)我們 特別強(qiáng)調(diào)間接賓語時。

Remember to write us a letter please.

I will return the book to you tomorrow.

Fetch a chair for me, will you?

2、當(dāng)間接賓語為人稱代詞，同時直接賓語也是人稱代詞時，也將間接賓語放在直接賓語之后。
E.g:
I have found the book and give it to her.
我找到了那本書，并給了她。
3、直接賓語只能用在某些動詞的后面，常見的這類動詞有：
give, show, send, bring, offer, read, pass, lend, leave, hand, tell, return,
write, pay, point, play, save, spare, order, sing, find等。
E.g:
The teacher gave us a lot of homework.
= The teacher gave a lot of homework to us.

He bought flowers for his girlfriend.
= He bought his girlfriend flowers.
他給女友買花。
He threw the ball to me, and I caught it.
= He threw me the ball, and I caught it.
